UniChiller RC™ - The Reverse Cycle Cooling and Heating System

Reverse Cycle Chiller

Provides both hot and cold water for total indoor comfort

Using the efficiency of water, the the UniChiller RC provides chilled water for cooling and also reverse cycles to provide hot water for heating, giving the end-use the very best in indoor comfort.

The UniChiller is a self-contained and pre-charged air-to-water heat pump.

The UniChiller has an operational sound level of only 66 dB(A)

Benefits of The UniChiller RC™

  • Ideal for zoning as there are no freeze-up problems caused by partial load conditions. The UniChiller compressor operates only on water temperature either sensed by the temperature controller inside the unit or by a separate external temperature controller.
  • Piping as simple or complex as required.
  • Quiet operation, less than 66 dB(A).
  • It can be placed at a remote location with properly sized piping and pump (up to 300 ft).
  • Available with or without a high head pump.
  • Available only with R-407C (ozone friendly) refrigerant.
  • Multiple UniChillers may be banked together to increase capacity and provide redundancy for increased reliability.

Quiet Operation - the UniChiller RC includes fans with a swept-wing configuration - which ensures quiet operation. The UniChiller RC is much quieter than conventional condensing units and chillers, as it had a side fan discharge rather than a top fan discharge.

Save Space - zoning of multiple conditioned areas allows for multiple air handling units to be run in conjunction with one outdoor unit. However, for larger residential and/or commercial projects, The UniChiller RC can be banked with multiple chiller units to provide the cooling and heating loads necessary for larger spaces.

Remote Location - valuable space near the home is not lost to the UniChiller because the unit uses water as the cooling/heating medium. And since all the refrigerant used in the unit is completely sealed and not circulated to the conditioned space, there is no danger of refrigerant escaping and the system never needs to be recharged.

Sealed System & Factory Charged - the UniChiller RC can be installed quickly and easily in the field and never requires further field charging. And it's been specifically designed to make maintenance and repair simple, with a stainless steel pump for longevity and error-free operation.
